This residential renovation expands and reconfigures an existing house through a series of clearly articulated new volumes, establishing a contemporary dialogue with the original structure. The intervention introduces a vertical addition with an accessible roof terrace, new living areas, and an integrated carport, redefining the relationship between the dwelling, the site, and the street.

The design strategy prioritises volumetric clarity, cross-ventilation, and landscape integration, using voids, intermediate gardens, and generous openings to enhance spatial quality and environmental performance. A restrained material palette contrasts the existing fabric with new timber and glazed elements, reinforcing the distinction between old and new while maintaining a cohesive architectural composition
