Pablo GrandÃo
I’m Pablo V. Grandío, a Spanish architect and urban planner with a passion for creating spaces that inspire and serve a purpose.
My Story.
I was born in a small mountain village in Spain, surrounded by nature and simplicity. My childhood was filled with the sound of tools and the thrill of creating. I’d spend hours designing and building treehouses, turning raw materials into little worlds of my own. Looking back, those moments were the first sparks of my love for design and construction.

As I grew older, I moved to the city—a big leap for a small-town boy like me. It was there that I discovered a more artistic side of myself, exploring new ideas and forms of expression. That journey led me to study architecture and urbanism, splitting my time between Spain and Portugal. Those years shaped not just my skills but also my perspective on how spaces can shape lives.

After graduating, I moved to Barcelona, eager to dive into the field and deepen my knowledge. Barcelona was inspiring, but I’ve always had a restless spirit. I craved new horizons, so I made a bold decision: I packed my bags and moved to Australia.

When I arrived in Australia, I started working as a carpenter. It was a way to learn the trade hands-on and improve my English at the same time. But things moved quickly. In no time, I was promoted to Site Supervisor, and then to Site Manager. Within a year, I was working as a Project Manager and designer, overseeing projects that allowed me to merge my creative and technical skills.

Australia transformed me in ways I never imagined. Those years were intense and full of growth, both professionally and personally. But the most profound part of that chapter was meeting Frank Mitchell. Frank introduced me to the richness of Aboriginal Culture, a world that captivated me and stirred something deep within.

Inspired by this shared passion, Frank and I decided to create something meaningful together—a design and architecture studio that merges creativity with cultural respect and storytelling.

Looking back, every chapter of my life, from building treehouses in the mountains to collaborating on projects that honor heritage and innovation, has been part of a bigger picture. It’s a journey I’m incredibly proud of, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next.
